A Focus on the Individual:
No one likes surprises when it comes to finances, especially during tax time. That's why, when meeting with new clients, we first review a comprehensive checklist of items that make up your financial picture-cash flow, taxes, insurance coverage, retirement plans and more. From there, we'll review your prior year returns to determine if you have overpaid any taxes, and we'll map out how much you'll be expected to pay for the next year's tax returns. We'll also provide a fee range* of how much our service will cost up front. Surprises are much less likely to come up if we're all in control of your financial picture.

*Fixed-fee engagements are also available for clients who lock in a year-long retainer agreement.

Business Clients:
For business clients, we also begin each relationship with a complete review of your tax filings, discuss your business plan and objectives, discuss insurance coverage, identify possible legal issues that may need to be reviewed with an attorney, analyze your accounting system and review a comprehensive list of services to identify how we can help and how much it will cost. Similar to our individual clients, we will provide an estimate of our services upfront and we can be flexible with payment terms if necessary.
